SELECT PROGRAM

Birth Years: 2007-2014

Our Select Program is the next step from the River City FC juniors.  In the competitive program teams are formed in each birth year group by ability level.  The Select Program is a step below the River City FC Academy but all players in the Select Program are eligible to be "Called up" to an academy team if staff believe they are ready.  The select program is for players U11-U18.

The River City FC Competitive Program will launch in the 2024/2025 season.


Select Player Selection

Players for select teams are selected based off their ability, Attitude, & Commitment. Teams are formed by birth year.


During the year players may be moved between teams based on their development and what staff feels is best for their long term development.


Players in the select program must be committed as they will train 2 times per week, play a fall, winter and spring schedule that includes league and tournament play.


High School Age select players will play an off High School Season schedule. Girls will play summer, Fall & Winter and boys will play late fall, Winter, & Spring.

Club Fees

Select Team Club Fees: $1300

Roster Size

U11 & U12: 12-14 (9v9)

U13+: 16-18 (11v11)

Practices

Teams practice 2 times per week for 75-90 minutes each session depending on age group .

Commitment

Year round (July-June) schedule with breaks.

Leagues & Tournaments

  • All teams participate in the Saint Louis Youth Soccer Association (SLYSA).
  • Teams will participate in a minimum of 4 tournaments or showcases per year.

Uniform Fees

All players are required to purchase the necessary uniform package.  Approximately $200
