How will the updated age group impact our group?
For specific details on how the updated age group affects your player, please reach out to our directors directly:

02 — ROSTER SIZE
What should I expect in terms of roster size?
We aim for at least 4 substitutes per team. The maximum roster would include seven substitutes.
• 7v7 → 11 players (max 18)
• 9v9 → 13 players (max 20)
• 11v11 → 15 players (max 22)
03 — WHO DECIDES
Who decides the final tryout placement?
All coaches who work within that age group collaborate to make final placement decisions — ensuring every perspective is considered and no single coach decides alone.
04 — PLACEMENTS
How do you decide final placements?
All coaches meet before the end of the season and review each player across four key pillars:
• Performance — How did the player perform on the field over the previous year?
• Behavior — How did the player conduct themselves with teammates, coaches, and opponents?
• Effort — Did the player give consistent effort in training and games throughout the year?
• Best Fit — What level is most beneficial for the player’s continued development?
05 — BEST FIT
What does “BEST” mean?
The best fit is where your player can compete and be successful. A level too low doesn’t challenge them and stunts their growth. A level too high sets them up to struggle and lose confidence. We carefully place players where they can develop alongside others of a similar ability — because that’s where real growth happens.
06 — EVALUATION
How are new players evaluated?
Players are evaluated through 1 to 1.5 hour tryout sessions and compared against current players to ensure the most accurate placement possible. We strongly encourage new players to attend I.D. sessions before tryouts — this gives coaches more time to assess them and results in a better placement outcome.
07 — OFFERS
When will I know what team I’m placed on?
Offers are sent out within 48 to 72 hours of tryouts. Offers arrive at different times for different players — if you hear that another player received an offer and yours hasn’t arrived yet, please wait the full allotted time before contacting a director. Everyone will hear back.
08 — YOUR DECISION
When do I have to let the club know my decision?
You have 48 hours to accept or decline your position on the team. This is the standard club policy and applies to all players across all teams.
09 — MISSING TRYOUTS
What if I can’t attend tryouts but want to be considered?
You still need to register to let the club know you’re interested. New players are especially encouraged to attend at least one practice or I.D. session beforehand. If you cannot attend tryouts or any I.D. sessions, you will most likely be placed on a Select team since we have no way to evaluate your level. Initial placements can always evolve as the season progresses.
